What is student service learning?
Student Service Learning at Silver Creek Middle School is an opportunity for students to:
- Become change agents through acts of service in their local and global community.
- Use their creativity with solving local and global issues.
- Build character for becoming a productive citizen.

Student Reflection:
"I love giving back to the community and helping people/families in need. This experience connected to something I learned in math class. I realized the same way you can solve an equation in different ways, you can help people in different ways. Big services, small services, they ALL count."
~Hewan T.- 7th Grade
